If we are doing everything we can for our health by living a healthy lifestyle and still have some health issues … then we could use meds but only if it’s not preventable or treatable by healthy living first.
Many times we first throw meds at a non-emergency health situation instead of being more intentional at living a healthy lifestyle, choosing healthy food options, getting plenty of rest, relieving stress, and exercising. By doing this we many times get the side effects of the meds and feel worse and treat symptoms instead of fixing the original problem or the source of the problem.
Modern medicine is great but shouldn’t be the go-to for non emergency health issues. Many time changes in our diets, adding exercise and getting plenty of rest and stress relief fixes our issues.
