Workouts & Exercise shouldn’t hurt you!

No athlete, from Pro/Elite to Youth/Children, should ever be hurting before stepping onto a field, court, or up to a race start line.

Training, working out, and exercising should NEVER hurt you aside from sometimes mild muscle soreness. Think about it…why would a smart coach or trainer continue to hurt an athlete or client in workouts?? An athlete can’t function in his/her sport effectively if hurt while training! A client trusting his/her trainer for general fitness should never continue to hurt or be in pain to simply lose some weight or gain muscle that’s absurd!

For 23+ years in fitness training and sports conditioning I’ve seen and heard just about every crazy injury, overtraining issue, and medical complication from bad fitness planning and dangerous sports conditioning.

Weekly I still get clients and athletes calling me for help dealing with nagging injuries stemming from CrossFit/Cross-training, fake coaches, inexperienced trainers, they themselves watching & mimicking too many internet workout videos, and worse.

Rotator cuff tears, shoulder strains, biceps tears, torn hamstrings, painful shin splints, feet injuries, low back/spinal injuries, continual wrist/forearm/elbow tendinitis pain, shoulder blade cramping, collar bone/clavicle pain, severe knee injuries, hip pains, girls losing their Periods as I’ve discussed before and worse.

Most of these injuries are preventable and never should have happened in the first place.

Good Coaches and Personal Trainers know how to teach smart training, proper nutrition that fits that training, and adequate rest/recovery for that training.

Say NO to the old “no pain no gain” slogan and train smart, eat right, and get plenty of rest!!
